I really want to start getting hired as a session player, ive done a few jobs here and there, but i want to start doing it professionally. I certainly have the ability and the qualifications, im just unsure how to break into the circuit.|||Send demos and a CV to the major record labels and producers and just keep doing it until someone takes notice|||How about wearing a t-shirt with "I AM A SESSION DRUMMER" on it in big letters, then people will recognise you.
You could insert the words "WILLING TO WORK FOR PEANUTS" and then walk around the music quarter of your town or city.
