What is the reasonable fees a lawyer charge per court session ?

My lawyer is charging me 2000 US Dollars per her court session , is she charging me high or reasonable enough ? Ohh yes the case is just a misdemeanor so i dont need to attend the court hearing .|||Call your local bar association and ask them the prevailing rates in the area--low and high. They can probably give you the best information in the shortest amount of time.|||Sounds high but I don't know what the charges in your area are in general or if she is a highly sought after attorney. Do some comparative shopping.|||it depends. my lawyer charges what is about $1000, so i think 2000 is a little high, but then again, that may be a competative rate where you are. ask around other law firms, and see what they would charge you.|||It depends on the degree of difficulty of the case and what tasks will be involved.The only answer is call and shop around.
