How can I copy a file from a telnet session to my local hard drive?

I have a windows machine. My only option to connect is to use putty to telnet to a linux machine A. FROM that session, I'll telnet to yet another linux machine B. I wanna copy the files from linux machine B to my hard drive. This is the only way to connect to B legally. It's related to my job. Thanks.|||Jg|||There are some tricks to do it if its an ascii (text) file. Such as cat it to the screen and capture it at your end.

If its not ascii then Im not sure if its possible.

Your best bet would be if you can copy it to a webdir and access it that way
